This past month has flown by. Steven and I celebrated our one month anniversary by packing his bags for a work trip. No, I haven't kicked him out yet ;) His job with the Army Corps of Engineers has taken him to Kentucky for the next several weeks. He'll get to come home on the weekends, so I'm not too sad about it. It's like we are reliving our college long distance days.
We have both been extremely busy the past weeks. Here's what we've been up to:
- I cut 5 inches off my hair
- Steven started his job
- We hosted the "July Bday Bash" for his family at our house... first big house party
- I official changed my name to Matheny (it's still super weird to sign my new name)
- We got our drivers liscenses changed
- We switched/merged our banking
- I took a work trip to Atlanta
- We celebrated Steven's 23rd birthday
We are looking forward to things slowing down a little!
